Sukkot & Simchat Torah

Celebrate Sukkot

First Day of Sukkot
9:15 am Family Service begins
10:00 am Fun for the whole family: shake the lulav and etrog, sing Hallel, and kiss the Torah as it’s taken out!!
10:30 am Pre-schoolers – 2nd grade (with an adult) are invited to the school wing (or sukkah!) for stories, activities, songs, & snack.
11:45 am Services conclude with a parade to the Sukkah! Please join us at a congregational luncheon, sponsored by the Sisterhood.
Second Day of Sukkot
9:15 am Service begins
10:00 am Shake the lulav and etrog, sing Hallel
10:20 am Torah Reading and Haftorah
11:00 am Sermon
11:30 am Musaf
11:45 am Services conclude with a parade to the Sukkah! Please join us for kiddush in the Sukkah.

Celebrate Simchat Torah

Erev Simchat Torah
6:45 pm Join the entire Temple Israel community for our Simchat Torah celebration! Dancing with the Torah, music, ice cream & more!
Simchat Torah Day
9:15 am Sanctuary service begins
10:15 am Dance and sing with the Torahs
11:00 am Tour the entire Torah scroll unrolled – a once a year event! Children (with an adult) are invited to the school wing for stories, activities, songs, & snack. At the conclusion of services, please join us at a congregational luncheon!
