The Caring Committee is a group of Temple Israel members committed to assisting other synagogue families in times of need. Committee members are available to prepare meals, visit the sick (in or out of the hospital), grocery shop, telephone members in need of friendly conversation, provide rides to doctors’ appointments, house sitting during funerals, and do whatever is necessary to provide physical and emotional support to our Temple community. Information is always held in the strictest of confidence and with the deepest respect for the individual and/or family. The Caring Committee works collaboratively with the Rabbi to ensure that efforts are coordinated. The primary goal of the Caring Committee is for Temple Israel families to always feel supported and cared for by our Temple Israel community. Please contact the Caring Committee to volunteer to help or to let them know of someone in need.
