The Men's Club has a number of exciting events coming up in the near future. Thursday, March 13^th: Cards Night
The perennial, good-time Men’s Club event. Everyone has fun, so everyone’s a winner. As always, it will be at Norm Shufrin’s home. If you aren’t a card player, come anyway to schmooze and relax with old and new friends. We hope to have a bridge game going in addition to the traditional poker. This is always one of our most popular events. Norm’s poker room and hospitality are legendary.

Sunday, April 13^th: Yom Hashoah Setup at 10:00 a.m.
Join us for this TI community service event. Our efficient packing team can rival any factory assembly line as we box up Yom Hashoah candles to mail to our TI members. Help us try to beat last year’s time of less than 90 minutes, while socializing with friends and noshing on bagels and coffee. Joel Pravda will co-chair with Ben Linden.

Tuesday, April 15^th: Pre-Passover Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
After you mail your taxes join us for a pre-Passover carb loading at Bertucci’s in Framingham. Contact Joel Pravda to RSVP.

Thursday, May 22^nd: Hearing Men's Voices discussion at 8:00 p.m.
Hearing Men's Voices is a discussion series led by a member of another Men's Club chapter. This discussion is titled, Work and Worth. We will discuss the importance of our jobs as a measure of our personal worth. Paul Davidson of Temple Israel in Sharon will be our facilitator. Contact Jay Salinger for more information.

Thursday, June 12^th to Sunday, June 15^th: Laymen's Institute
The annual, regional retreat will once again be held at Camp Ramah. This year our own David Singer is chairing Laymen’s Institute so help us insure that our club is well represented.

Sunday, June 22^nd Start of Sunday Morning Bike Rides
We will ride pre-planned routes approximately every three weeks this summer.Watch your email for specifics.

Thursday, July 17^th: Bowling at 7:00 p.m.
Join us at Fairway Lanes in Natick and strike up some fun. Contact Doug Koltenuk to RSVP.

Men's Club Listserv

If you would like to keep informed with what is going on with the Men's Club then sign up for our Listserv. What is a Listserv you may ask. Well, it is a way to communicate with a group of people via e-mail in a simple and efficient manner. Once you have subscribed to the list, you simply send an e-mail to the list address and it is automatically distributed of everyone else who is subscribed. Any message that they send to the list address is automatically sent to you and everyone else. But ... you have to subscribe in order to participate.

To subscribe, simply send an e-mail to listserv@jtsa.edu. and replace firstname and lastname with your first and last name. When the message is received you will get a confirmation message that will contain additional information about how the list works. Please contact me if you have any questions.
